EMRS Guest Teachers Recruitment Notification 2023-24

Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) have been established in Telangana State in the year 1997-98 to impart free quality education to ST children in remote areas in order to enable them to avail of opportunities in high and professional educational courses and get employment in various sectors. The schools focus not only on academic education but on the all-round development of the students. Each school has a capacityof 480 students, catering to students from Class VI to XII.

As EMRS are co-educational and fully residential schools located in rural areas, the teachers are required to perform responsibilities attached with residential system of schooling like House Mastership, remedial supervisory studies, organization of co- curricular activities, escorting of students & other official purposes and looking after students’ welfare in general, in addition to normal teaching duties.

With a commitment to resolve the problem of non -availability of teachers, NESTS has formulated guidelines for engagement of Guest Teachers. Accordingly, it has been decided to fill up the vacancies of Teaching staff temporarily on outsourcingbasis in the following (23) E M R Schools functioning in Telangana State for the academicyear 2023-24:

VACANCIES:

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates to fill up the following vacancies temporary basis in EMRS till the end of the academic year 2023-24 or joining of regular incumbents, whichever is earlier:

Selection Procedure:

The State EMRS Society shall conduct interviews for the EMRSs running in the State for the teaching posts and draw a panel of the same valid for one Academic Year only. The panel shall be exercised in the EMRSs of the Telangana State only in case of existence of vacancies/ vacancy arising out of upgradation of EMRS/ or when teacher proceeds on long leave.
The following procedure for drawing a Panel of Guest Teachers for the Academic Year 2023-24 is adopted by the Telangana State EMRS Society: The applicants while submitting the application shall have to opt for 3-5 EMRSs running in the same district or in Any district (as the case may be) in decreasing order of their priority for engagement as Guest Teacher, if selected.

State EMRS society has constituted panels for conducting the Interviews and Demos to the shortlisted candidates.

The merit shall be made strictly on the basis of the Educational Qualifications as per eligibility Criteria, Teaching experience and Demo/Interview.

The Panel of Guest Teachers will be uploaded on the State EMRS Society website and the same will be operated only in case of existence of vacancies/vacancy arising out of upgradation of EMRS/ or when teacher proceeds on long leave.

AGE:

Minimum and Maximum age limit shall be 21 years and 60 years respectively (As on 01.07.2023)

PGTs: Rs.35750/-

TGTs: Rs.34125/-
