Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad applications are invited for Entrance Test Notification for Admission into Bachelor of Education Programme [B.Ed.(Spl.Education)–ODL] 2022-23 (Recognised by NCTE)

Eligibility:

1. The Candidate should be an Indian Citizen.
2. Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelors Degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.C.A./B.Sc. (Home Science)/BBM /BBA/B.E/B.Tech. withspecialization in Science and Mathematics) or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission into the programme.
3. For BCA candidate must pass intermediate with concern subjects to opt the methodology.
4. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/PH should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
5. However, Weightage will be given to the candidates fulfilling any one of the following conditions:
   *Parent of a child with disability, possessing Disability Certificate issued by the Competent Authority
   *Person with disability, possessing Disability Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
   *Possession of any RCI approved Diploma
6. The reservation for SC/ST/BC/PWD categories shall be as per the rules in vogue.
7. EWS quota seats will be allotted to the eligible candidate.
   NOTE:
   As per the GOMS No: 92 and GOMS NO.13,& RCI norms the candidates who passed MBBS/BDS/BPT/BAMS/BL/LLB/B.Pharm/BHMT/BVSC/B.Sc.(AG)/BA(Languages)/BOL, BMR, B.Sc ASLPetc. and other such Professional and Job Oriented courses are not eligible for admission into B.Ed. SE Programme.
   B.Ed. SE Programme is offered in three Specializations. Viz. :
   *Visual Impairment(VI)
   *Hearing Impairment(HI)
   *Intellectual Disability (ID)
   The candidate has to choose any one of the Specialization for admission.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE CHOICE OF PEDAGOGIES IN B.Ed.(Spl.Education)PROGRAMME:

1. Mathematics: Candidates with B.A./B.Sc. with Mathematics as one of the subjects, or B.C.A/B.E./ B.Tech. Candidates with Mathematics at Intermediate level as a group subject.
2. Physical Sciences: Candidates with B.Sc. who have studied Physical Sciences (Physics or Chemistry) or Allied Material Sciences as group subjects or B.E/B.Tech. and BCA candidates with Physical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry) at Intermediate level as group subjects.
3. Biological Sciences: Candidates with B.Sc./B.Sc.(Home Science) who have studied Botany and Zoology or Allied Life Sciences under Part - II group subjects or B.E/B.Tech./B.C.A. candidates with Biological Sciences at Intermediate level as group subjects
4. Social Sciences: All candidates with B.A./B.Com./B.B.M. or B.C.A. with Social Sciences at Intermediate level as group subjects.

Registration to appear for the Entrance Test:

1. Pay the Registration fee and Register through University portal www.braouonline.in
2. Candidates has to pay Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only). S.C/ST/PWD candidates has to pay Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and fifty only) through online on or before 22-05-2023.
3. Applications may submit on or before 28-05-2023 with a late fee of Rs. 500/-

Syllabus for Entrance Test:

1. The Entrance Test Question Paper will have 2 parts for 100 Marks with 100 Objective type (Multiple Choice) questions.
   Part-A: General English Comprehension (40 Marks)
   Part-B: General Mental Ability: Logical & Analytical
   Reasoning: Verbal & Abstract Reasoning (60 Marks)
   

Mode of Entrance Test:

1. Entrance Test will be conducted Online [Computer Based Test (CBT) mode (Entrance Test will be conducted in Telugu Language (Medium) only)

Tuition Fee:

1. For Entire Programme of two and half years (i.e. 5 Semesters) Total fee Rs. 40,000/-(Rupees Forty Thousand only) Rs.30.000/-(Rupees Thirty Thousand only) for tuition fee + Rs. 10,000 (Rupees Ten thousand only) towards Learner Support Services fee) to be paid at the time of Admissions.

Duration:

1. 2 ½ Academic Years (5 Semesters)
1. Maximum period to complete the programme is 6 Academic Years.

1. SSC/Equivalent certificate for Date of Birth proof.
2. Degree/PG Marks Memos and Provisional /Convocation certificate.
3. RCI approved Diploma completion certificate (if availableDiploma/Degree (VI/HI/ID)
4. Medical Board Certificate (for PH candidates / Parent of Child with disability issued by Competent Authority)
5. Latest Passport size Photo with Signature (JPEG format and less than 60 KB).

ONLINE APPLICATION STEPS:

1. Visit University portal www.braouonline.in
2. Fill the application form ON-LINE based on your certificates/documents.
3. Fill the application form ON-LINE based on your certificates/documents (please verify Model Online Application form and instructions to fill the application ON-LINE in the University portal).
4. If any wrong information is provided in the application form, it is the responsibility of the applicant only.
5. After submitting the form, take a print out and pay the registration fee mentioning the reference number of the application.
6. Registration fee Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) and S.C.,/S.T/PWD candidate may pay Rs. 750/-(Rupees Seven Hundred and fifty only) through online. Please obtain receipt for the payment of the fee.
7. If the candidate fails to pay registration fee and submit the application in time, He /She must pay a late fee of Rs. 500/- till 28-05-2023.
8. Please keep the printed Application Form and Fee receipt carefully with you for further reference and for submission at the time of Certificates verification.
9. Make a note that the process of registration to appear for Entrance Test will be possible only after the payment of Registration Fee.
10. Physical submission of Application is not required.
