The Central Board of Secondary Educatn will conduct 17th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET JULY-2023) in CBT (Computer Based Test - Online) mode between July-2023 to August-2023 The exact date of examination will be mentioned on the admit cards of the candidates. The detailed Information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates will be available on CTET official website.https://ctet.nic.in.

CTET: PAPER-1: ELIGIBILITY

  1. 10+2 (or Equivalent) with at least 50% Marks passed and appering the final year of 02 years Diploma in Elementary Educatn
  2. 10+2 (or Equivalent) with atleast 50% Marks passed and appering the final year of 04 years Bachelor in Elementary Educatn
  3. 10+2 (or Equivalent) with atleast 50% Marks passed and appering the final year of 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education(Special Educatn)
  4. Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education(B.Ed)

CTET: PAPER-2: ELIGIBILITY

  1. 10+2 (or Equivalent) with atleast 50% Marks passed and appering the final year of 04 years Bachelor in Elementary Educatn(B.El.Ed)
  2. 10+2 (or Equivalent) with atleast 50% Marks passed and appering the final year of 04 year of BA.Ed/B.Sc,B.Ed.
  3. Graduation with at least 50% marks and 01-Year B.Ed
  4. Graduation with at least 50% marks and 01-Year B.Ed(Special Educatn)
  5. B.E/B.Tech at least 50% marks and appering the final year 01-Year of B.Ed/B.Ed(Special Educatn)

Method of Submission of Online Application Form:

  1. STEP 1: Log on to CTET official website https://ctet.nic.in
  2. STEP 2: Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.
  3. STEP 3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.
  4. STEP 4: Upload latest Scanned Photograph and Signature
  5. STEP 5: Pay Examination Fee by debit/credit card and net banking. The candidates must note that the examination city of their choice will be allotted on the first come first served basis only as per availability of capacity in the city of examination. The candidates, who complete the online application process and pay the fee on first come first served basis, will be allotted the examination city of their choice as per availability in that particular city. The total capacity in a particular city will also be available on the portal. If the total capacity of a particular city is full during completion of application process or making payment of examination fee or updation of transaction on portal, the candidate will be given the option either to select any other city of examination or cancel the transaction. If a candidate cancels the transaction, full fee will be refunded to his /her account as per mode of payment and application will not be considered for this examination of CTET. The request for change of examination city will not be accepted in any case.
  6. STEP 6: Print Confirmation page for record and future reference.

VALIDITY PERIOD OF CTET CERTIFICATE:

  1. The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be for life time for all categories.
  2. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate. A person who has qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES

  1. The candidates must note that the examination city of their choice will be allotted on first cum first served basis only as per availability of capacity in the city of examination.
  2. The candidates, who complete the online application process and pay the fee on first cum first served basis, will be allotted the examination city of their choice as per availability in that particular city.
  3. The total capacity in a particular city will also be available on the portal. If the total capacity of a particular city is full during completion of application process or making payment of examination fee or updation of transaction on portal, the candidate will be given the option either to select any other city or cancel the transaction.
  4. If a candidate cancels the transaction, full fee will be refunded to his/her account as per mode of payment and application will not be considered for this examination of CTET. The request for change of examination city will not be accepted in any case.
  5. It may also be noted that if the total capacity is full in a particular city while filling on-line application, the candidate has no right to claim for the allotment of examination center in that particular city and Board will not be responsible for it.
  6. So the candidates are advised to complete their application process without waiting for last date.
