TELANGANA NMMS EXAM-2025 NOTIFICATION
TG NMMSE-2026 Exam will be conducted on 01-11-2026(Sunday) from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM. The objective is to award scholarships to meritorious students of economically weaker sections to arrest their drop out at class VIII and encourage them to continue the study at secondary stage. One lakh scholarships @ Rs.12000/- per annum (Rs.1000/- per month) are awarded to selected students of class IX every year and their continuation/renewal in classes X to XII for study in State Government, Government-aided and Local body schools under the scheme.Students of NVS, KVS, Sainik schools and private schools are not entitled for the scholarships.

The selected beneficiaries should register and up load their Aadhar linked bank account particulars in National Scholarship Portal in stipulated time by opening the bank accounts in any nationalized bank which have online clearing system only to get scholarship Rs 12000 per year.

Present(2026-27): 8th class students are eligible for this Exam.

ELIGIBILITY:
National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination for the year 2026-27 for class VIII will be conducted in Telugu/ Hindi/Urdu/ English media at all Revenue Divisional Head Quarters of all 33 Districts in the State. Online Applications are invited for this examination from this office website http://bse.telangana.gov.in

The candidates who got minimum 55% of marks in case of OC/BC candidates and 50% in case of SC/ST in VII Standard and studying class VIII from above said schools with parental income by not exceeding Rs. 3,50,000/- p.a. are eligible to apply for this examination.

Studying in ZP//Local Body/ Government /Government aided schools Model Schools which have no residential facility only can apply.Candidates from Model Schools who have residential facility are not eligible for applying of NMMSE. Head Masters concerned will be held responsible in this matter.

Orginal VII class Pass memo of marks of the candidate should be submitted.


The students studying in Telangana Residential High Schools, Telangana Social Welfare Residential Schools, Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential High Schools, Telangana Minority Residential Schools, Government Ashram High Schools and Kasturba Residential Schools, Modelschools with residential facility, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Private unaided Schools including sainik schools and other Government schools which have residential facility are not eligible to appear for this Examination.

For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled tribe & PH Students: Rs. 50
The examination fee has to be paid through the system of SBI Collect which is connected with the link of online application.


Pattern of Examination is as follows: Mental Ability Test (M.A.T) – 90 marks multiple choice questions.
Scholastic Ability Test.(S.A.T) – 90 marks covering sciences, mathematics and social sciences of class VII & VIII. Each question carries one mark.Time is one minute for one question.


Qualifying percentage is as follows: The minimum qualifying marks for each paper will be 40% and in case of SC/ST students this cut off will be 32%.
Selection will be made as per the merit subject to district wise and community wise quota allotted as per norms issued by MHRD New Delhi.

Telangana Samagra Shiksha-Community Mobilization-Conduct of Parent Teacher Meeting for the month of July, 2026 is to be held on 18.07.2026 (Saturday) in all Government, Local body Schools, KGBVs and TG Model Schools in the State as per guidelines issued. The theme of July, 2026 Parent Teacher Meeting on 18.07.2026 theme is "Parents Promise".

In this context, they are requested to ensure the following.

1)Prior intimation to parents by sending invitation in writing through the students of the School by HMs well in advance to invite them for PTM in order to ensure 100% participation by parents as role of parents is crucial for academic growth of their children before 16.07.2026.
2)HMs shall specially focus on parents who are not attending PTMs and to ensure their attendance.
3)High Schools HMs shall conduct class wise review with parents on the performance of their children before conducting the common meeting.
4)As most of the parents in Rural Areas are engaged in agriculture work and in Urban Areas are engaged with other works, it is suggested that the PTM may be conducted at time convenient to the parents to enable the parents to attend the Meeting.
5)HMs shall download the resources of Parent Teachers Meeting from School Education APP before the conduct of Parent Teachers Meeting using the school credentials.
6)To get the support of Parents to improve enrolment and attendance of their children.
7)To involve parents as key stakeholders in developmental activities of the schools and for academic growth of the students and the Institution.
8)HMs shall record minutes of meeting.
9)After conducting the Parent Teachers Meeting HM shall enter the details of Parent Teachers Meeting in the School Education Telangana APP.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) today declared the result of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate), NEET (UG) 2026. The result has been declared in time so that the medical-admission and counselling calendar for candidates stays on track. A total of close to 20 lakh candidates appeared for NEET (UG) 2026 at 5,440 centres in 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad. 11.21 lakh candidates have qualified for admission to undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH and allied programmes. Scorecards of all candidates are available on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. The full list of Top Rankers, State Toppers, category-wise toppers (SC, ST, OBC-NCL, Gen-EWS, PwBD and PwD), category-wise cut-off marks and language-wise participation is also being published on the NTA website.

Score Distribution and Highest Scorers:

• 19 candidates scored above 700 out of 720.
• 1,492 candidates scored 650 and above.
• 10,160 candidates scored 600 and above.
• 90,780 candidates scored 500 and above.
The highest score of 715 out of 720 was obtained jointly by Aryan Gupta (Punjab) and Panshul Bansal (Haryana).

Navodaya Vidyalaya Class VI Selection Test 2027
Admissions in JNVs are made through the JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA SELECTION TEST (JNVST) to Class VI. The medium of instruction in JNVs is the mother tongue or regional language up to Class VIII and thereafter English for Mathematics and Science and Hindi for Social Science. Students of the JNVs appear for board examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Edn (CBSE).Government of India started Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs). Presently the JNVs are spread in 27 States and 08 Union Territories. These are co-educational residential schools fully financed and administered by Government of India through an autonomous organization, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.

According to the Navodaya Vidyalaya Scheme, one Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is to be set up in each District in a phased manner. At present, 665 Vidyalayas are functional in 27 States and 08 Union Territories. The State/UT-wise distribution of functional JNVs.To provide good quality modern edn including a strong component of culture, inculcation of values, awareness of the environment, adventure activities and physical edn to the talented children predominantly from rural areas.

ELIGIBILITY:
1)The candidate has NEVER appeared in the JNVST examination in any previous year(s). 2)The candidate was promoted from Class IV and officially admitted to Class V in a RECOGNIZED school on or before 31st July 2026.
3)Born between 01.05.2015 to 31.07.2017 (Both the dates inclusive)
4)Spent/Studied full academic session in class III, IV and V
5)The candidate is applying only for his/her District of Residence and studying class V either in the same district or in a recognised school located in the neighbouring district with in a radial distance of 10 KMs.
6)The candidate is an Indian National.
7)Parents/Candidates have carefully read the official JNVST-2027 Prospectus and agree to its terms.
8)I possess a valid Aadhaar Number for the candidate OR a valid Parent Residence Certificate issued by a competent Government Authority.
9)If the candidate/parents affirm and declare that the candidate is fulfilling all the above eligibility conditions then click the box given below. (Yes/No).


Procedure to register online for JNV Selection Test-2027:
The process for submission of application for JNV Selection Test has been simplified through online process. Registration can be done free of cost through the admission portal of NVS linked through https://navodaya.gov.in
Candidates & parents have to go through the notification cum prospectus and ensure the fulfilment of eligibility criteria.

Aadhaar details/ Residence certificate issued by competent Government authority.
Basic details of candidate like State, District, Block, Aadhaar number, APAAR ID, PEN Number etc. are to be filled in the application portal.
The eligible candidates have to fill up the online form and upload the photograph along with signatures of both (candidate and his/her parent). The certificate should be uploaded in jpg format of the size between 10-100 kb only.
In case of candidates from NIOS, candidates should obtain `B’ certificate and he/she should be a Bonafide resident of the same district where he/she is seeking admission.


Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test-2027:
JNV Selection Test for admission to Class-VI in JNVs for the academic session 2027-28 will be held on 28th November, 2026 for Summer bound and Winter bound JNVs in single phase.

EXAM PATTERN:
Mental ability Test+Environmental Studies (EVS): 20+20 =40 Qusetons, 25+25=50 Marks Arithmetic Test: 20 Qusetons, 25 Marks
Language Test: 20 Qusetons, 25 Marks
Total: 80 Questions, 100 Marks
A separate OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) answer sheet will be provided. Candidates are required to mark/indicate their answers at an appropriate place on the OMR sheet.
Only Blue/Black Ball Point Pen is to be used to write on the OMR Sheet.
The selection test will be of two-hour duration from 11:30 AM to 01:30 PM and will have 3 sections with only objective type questions. There are 80 questions in all for 100 marks.
A single test booklet comprising of all the three sections will be given to each candidate. Additional time of 40 minutes will be allowed for “Divyang students” (differently-abled students)


RESERVATION OF SEATS:
At least 75% of the seats in a district will be filled by candidates provisionally selected from Rural Areas of the district.
There is no reservation for urban area candidates.
Remaining seats, after selection of rural candidates, following the reservation norms, are treated as open seats. These seats are filled on merit from both Urban and Rural Area candidates of the district as per selection criteria.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Class VI Selection Test 2027
Admissions in JNVs are made through the JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA SELECTION TEST (JNVST) to Class VI. The medium of instruction in JNVs is the mother tongue or regional language up to Class VIII and thereafter English for Mathematics and Science and Hindi for Social Science. Students of the JNVs appear for board examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Edn (CBSE).Government of India started Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs). Presently the JNVs are spread in 27 States and 08 Union Territories. These are co-educational residential schools fully financed and administered by Government of India through an autonomous organization, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.

According to the Navodaya Vidyalaya Scheme, one Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is to be set up in each District in a phased manner. At present, 665 Vidyalayas are functional in 27 States and 08 Union Territories. The State/UT-wise distribution of functional JNVs.To provide good quality modern edn including a strong component of culture, inculcation of values, awareness of the environment, adventure activities and physical edn to the talented children predominantly from rural areas.

ELIGIBILITY:
1)The candidate has NEVER appeared in the JNVST examination in any previous year(s). 2)The candidate was promoted from Class IV and officially admitted to Class V in a RECOGNIZED school on or before 31st July 2026.
3)Born between 01.05.2015 to 31.07.2017 (Both the dates inclusive)
4)Spent/Studied full academic session in class III, IV and V
5)The candidate is applying only for his/her District of Residence and studying class V either in the same district or in a recognised school located in the neighbouring district with in a radial distance of 10 KMs.
6)The candidate is an Indian National.
7)Parents/Candidates have carefully read the official JNVST-2027 Prospectus and agree to its terms.
8)I possess a valid Aadhaar Number for the candidate OR a valid Parent Residence Certificate issued by a competent Government Authority.
9)If the candidate/parents affirm and declare that the candidate is fulfilling all the above eligibility conditions then click the box given below. (Yes/No).


Procedure to register online for JNV Selection Test-2027:
The process for submission of application for JNV Selection Test has been simplified through online process. Registration can be done free of cost through the admission portal of NVS linked through https://navodaya.gov.in
Candidates & parents have to go through the notification cum prospectus and ensure the fulfilment of eligibility criteria.
The following documents in soft form (JPG format of size between 10 to 100 kb) may be kept ready for registration: Photograph

Aadhaar details/ Residence certificate issued by competent Government authority.
Basic details of candidate like State, District, Block, Aadhaar number, APAAR ID, PEN Number etc. are to be filled in the application portal.
The eligible candidates have to fill up the online form and upload the photograph along with signatures of both (candidate and his/her parent). The certificate should be uploaded in jpg format of the size between 10-100 kb only.
In case of candidates from NIOS, candidates should obtain `B’ certificate and he/she should be a Bonafide resident of the same district where he/she is seeking admission.


Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test-2027:
JNV Selection Test for admission to Class-VI in JNVs for the academic session 2027-28 will be held on 28th November, 2026 for Summer bound and Winter bound JNVs in single phase.

EXAM PATTERN:
Mental ability Test+Environmental Studies (EVS): 20+20 =40 Qusetons, 25+25=50 Marks Arithmetic Test: 20 Qusetons, 25 Marks
Language Test: 20 Qusetons, 25 Marks
Total: 80 Questions, 100 Marks
A separate OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) answer sheet will be provided. Candidates are required to mark/indicate their answers at an appropriate place on the OMR sheet.
Only Blue/Black Ball Point Pen is to be used to write on the OMR Sheet.
The selection test will be of two-hour duration from 11:30 AM to 01:30 PM and will have 3 sections with only objective type questions. There are 80 questions in all for 100 marks.
A single test booklet comprising of all the three sections will be given to each candidate. Additional time of 40 minutes will be allowed for “Divyang students” (differently-abled students)


RESERVATION OF SEATS:
At least 75% of the seats in a district will be filled by candidates provisionally selected from Rural Areas of the district.
There is no reservation for urban area candidates.
Remaining seats, after selection of rural candidates, following the reservation norms, are treated as open seats. These seats are filled on merit from both Urban and Rural Area candidates of the district as per selection criteria.
